RentFriends Package Sales Terms

§1. SELLER AND CONTACT

1. These Terms set out the rules for selling listing packages on the RentFriends service available at https://rentfriends.app.

2. The seller is Marvin Ruciński, a natural person running unregistered business activity (Article 5 of the Act of 6 March 2018 – Entrepreneurs' Law), address for service: ul. Na Grobli 12 (pok. 0.21), 50-421 Wrocław, e-mail: kontakt@rentfriends.app (the "Seller").

3. Questions about packages, payments, refunds and complaints can be sent to the Seller's e-mail address given in section 2.

4. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the RentFriends Terms and the Privacy Policy.

§2. DEFINITIONS

1. Account – the User's individual account on the RentFriends service, under the RentFriends Terms.

2. Listing – a listing of a room or a flat for rent added from the Account.

3. Package – a set number of Listings the User can publish, bought up front at the price shown on the service before the purchase.

4. Publication period – 30 days from the day a Listing from the Package is published.

5. Balance – the number of Listings the User can still publish from bought Packages.

6. Startup price – the reduced price of a Package for purchases made until 31 December 2026 inclusive, shown on the service before the purchase.

7. Consumer – a natural person buying a Package for a purpose not directly related to their business or profession. The provisions on Consumers in §5 also apply to a natural person running a business when buying the Package is not of a professional nature for them (Article 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).

§3. BUYING A PACKAGE

1. Publishing a new Listing requires a Package. Listings published before these Terms came into force stay live until the end of their current publication period; switching them on again after that period requires a Package.

2. Packages can be bought only on https://rentfriends.app, after signing in to the Account. In the RentFriends mobile app the User manages Listings but cannot buy.

3. Before the purchase the User sees the name of the Package, the number of Listings, the total price to pay (including a discount code, if one was applied), the payment methods and the Publication period.

4. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Available payment methods: BLIK, Klarna, Apple Pay and payment card.

5. The sales contract for a Package is concluded when the order is paid. The Seller sends a confirmation of the contract, with these Terms, to the e-mail address of the Account.

6. Prices on the service are gross prices. The Seller is not a VAT payer. On request, the Seller issues a bill.

§4. LISTINGS FROM A PACKAGE

1. Publishing a Listing reduces the Balance by one. Listings are taken first from the Package bought earliest.

2. A Package has no expiry date. Unused Listings stay in the Balance with no time limit.

3. A Listing published from a Package stays live for the Publication period. Pausing a Listing does not extend the Publication period.

4. During the Publication period the User can edit, pause and resume a Listing without reducing the Balance. Deleting a Listing does not restore the Balance.

5. When the Publication period ends, the Listing is no longer visible on the service. Switching a Listing on for another Publication period reduces the Balance by one.

6. Messages and phone number reveals by people interested in a Listing are free and unlimited.

7. A Listing of a room and a Listing of a whole flat cost the same.

§5. WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS

1. A Consumer may withdraw from the sales contract for a Package within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason, by sending a statement to the Seller's e-mail address.

2. At the Consumer's express request, made when buying, the Package works right away, before the withdrawal period ends.

3. A Consumer who withdraws from the contract after publishing Listings from the Package pays for the published Listings. Their price is the price of the cheapest set of smaller Packages that would cover those Listings, at the prices on the day of purchase, without the discount for a larger Package. This amount never exceeds the price paid for the Package. The Seller refunds the difference. Unused Listings from the Package expire, and published Listings stay live until the end of their Publication period.

4. Example: a Consumer bought the Pro Package (10 Listings) for PLN 199 and published 6 Listings. They pay what the Standard Package (5 Listings, PLN 119) and the Start Package (1 Listing, PLN 29) cost, i.e. PLN 148. The refund is PLN 51. Had they published 2 Listings, they would pay 2 × PLN 29 = PLN 58 and get PLN 141 back.

5. Regardless of Consumer rights, any User may, within 14 days of buying a Package, ask for a refund of the whole amount paid if they have not published any Listing from that Package. After the refund the Package expires. A User who is not a Consumer gets no refund once at least one Listing from the Package has been published.

6. The Seller refunds the money within 14 days of receiving the statement, using the payment method the User used.

§6. COMPLAINTS

1. Complaints about Packages and payments can be sent to the Seller's e-mail address. A complaint should include the Account's e-mail address and a description of the problem.

2. The Seller replies to a complaint within 14 days of receiving it.

§7. PRICES

1. Packages bought until 31 December 2026 inclusive cost the Startup price. From 1 January 2027 the regular prices shown on the service apply. The Publication period and the rules of using a Package are the same in both cases.

2. A change of the price list does not apply to Packages bought before the change.

3. Discount codes reduce the price of the stated Package under the rules given with the code. The discounted price is shown before going to payment.

§8. REAL ESTATE AGENCIES

1. For real estate agencies, including those with a CRM integration, the Seller may agree individual terms in a separate contract. The terms of such a contract take precedence over these Terms.

§9. PERSONAL DATA

1. The processing of personal data, including by the payment operator (Stripe) and the text message provider, is described in the Privacy Policy.

§10. CHANGES TO THE TERMS

1. The Seller may change these Terms for important reasons, in particular changes in the law or in the way the service is provided. Each version of the Terms is dated and available on the service.

2. A change of the Terms does not affect rights the User acquired before it came into force, in particular regarding bought Packages.

§11. FINAL PROVISIONS

1. Polish law applies to Package sales contracts.

2. These Terms do not limit Consumer rights under mandatory provisions of law.
